Description
The sE Electronics Reflexion Filter PRO is a portable curved reflection filter that sits behind your microphone to tame room reflections in home and project studios. Six internal layers plus an air barrier absorb and diffuse acoustic energy before it reaches untreated walls and returns to the mic as unwanted ambience.
Mount it on any microphone stand with the included variable-position clamp for flexible mic and filter placement. Use it for vocals, horns and reeds, guitar, voice-over, percussion, and location microphones wherever you bring your own acoustic treatment.
Construction Layers
- Punched aluminum for diffusing sound waves
- Sound-absorptive wool
- Aluminum foil for breaking up lower frequency waveforms
- Air gap acting as an acoustic barrier
- Additional sound-absorptive wool
- Another layer of punched aluminum
- Four formed panels of specialized acoustic absorptive material, separated from the main unit via a small air gap
