Description
The sE Electronics guitaRF reflection filter lets you double-mic guitar, bass, or keyboard amplifiers while isolating the source from room and stage reflections. A four-layer acoustic shell surrounds the amp with a pass-through hole and rubber-finned grip for a small-diaphragm dynamic or acoustic mic, plus an adjustable mount for a large-diaphragm condenser or ribbon mic.
Mount the full assembly on a mic stand for flexible placement, or use it beyond guitar amps for acoustic and drum miking applications.
Mounting Hardware
- LDC/ribbon mount adjustable across vertical, depth, and lateral axes
- Position both capsules in phase, or spread them to capture cone edge and dust cap separately
- Filter assembly moves up and down over the speaker cone
- Filter detaches from its base for stand-mounted placement anywhere on stage
Acoustic Filter
- Four layers: outer composite panel, acoustic-grade wool, air gap, and inner foam
- Pass-through hole with rubber-finned grip holds popular dynamic and small-capsule mics
- Double-cable clip on the back keeps mic cables from tugging capsules out of position
