Description
The Roland RD-08 is an 88-key stage piano that brings the acclaimed RD-series playability and sound quality into a lightweight, affordable package. Powered by the ZEN-Core engine alongside SuperNATURAL Piano and SuperNATURAL E.Piano technology, the RD-08 delivers over 3,000 tones through a PHA-4 Standard hammer-action keyboard with escapement and Ivory Feel keys.
RD Piano Sound Engine
The RD-08 shares its PHA-4 keybed and sound architecture with the higher-end RD-88, giving players premium piano feel at a more accessible price point. Built-in stereo speakers (6W x 2 with dedicated tweeters) eliminate the need for external amplification at rehearsals and small venues. Three zones allow layering and splitting across the keyboard, with 100 scenes for instant recall of complete setups. A mic input with dedicated effects enables vocalists to run through the same output, and the USB Computer port supports class-compliant MIDI for integration with DAWs and Apple MainStage.
