Roland JUNO-X 61-Key Polyphonic Synthesizer

The Roland JUNO-X is a 61-key programmable polyphonic synthesizer that channels the legacy of Roland's legendary JUNO series into a modern instrument. Powered by the ZEN-Core Synthesis System, it includes dedicated JUNO-X, JUNO-60, and JUNO-106 sound engine models, sounds from the XV-5080 and RD-series pianos, built-in stereo speakers, Bluetooth audio and MIDI, and Roland's intelligent I-Arpeggio, all in a familiar hands-on interface with channel aftertouch.

Three JUNO Sound Models

JUNO-X is three synthesizers in one. The newly developed JUNO-X Model features a Super Saw oscillator, velocity sensitivity, and the Chorus III effect. The JUNO-60 Model recreates the warm, organic character of the 1982 original, complete with its distinctive chorus. The JUNO-106 Model reproduces the cleaner, more polished sound of the best-selling synth of the 1980s. Switching between Models changes the underlying synthesis behavior, not just the presets, giving each engine its own authentic sonic character.

Beyond the three JUNO engines, over 900 PCM presets from the XV-5080 module cover acoustic instruments, vintage synths, and world sounds. RD-Piano sounds deliver expressive acoustic pianos from Roland's stage piano heritage. A built-in Vocoder with mic input creates robotic voices, ensemble tones, and textured pads. The I-Arpeggio uses intelligent algorithms to detect your playing rhythm and generate evolving arpeggio patterns in real time, with MIDI export for further development in a DAW.

Built-in stereo speakers (4W x 2 with dedicated tweeters) let you practice and perform without external amplification. Bluetooth 4.2 streams audio from your phone and connects MIDI wirelessly. The rear panel provides balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" main outputs, a mic input (1/4"/XLR combo), an aux input, MIDI I/O, and USB audio/MIDI.
