Description
The PreSonus Quantum HD2 is a 20x24 USB-C audio interface delivering 32-bit/192 kHz recording with two MAX-HD mic preamps offering +75 dB of gain. High-performance converters provide up to 124 dB of dynamic range for crystal-clear capture with stunning detail. Co-designed with Fender, it includes front-mounted instrument inputs with dedicated re-amp outputs for guitar and bass workflows.
MAX-HD Preamps
Two MAX-HD mic preamps provide +75 dB of gain with digitally-controlled analog circuitry, delivering transparency and low noise suited for a diverse array of microphone styles. An Auto Gain function sets optimal levels for microphone and instrument signals automatically.
Instrument Inputs and Re-Amp
Two front-mounted instrument inputs co-designed with Fender provide plug-and-play accessibility for guitarists and bassists. Dedicated re-amp outputs let you send audio from your DAW back to a physical amp, experiment with pedals and mic placements, then re-record the result.
Digital Expansion
ADAT optical connectors accommodate 16 channels at 48 kHz for expanding your input count. A stereo-capable S/PDIF port and MIDI I/O provide further digital connectivity. Balanced stereo output jacks are DC-coupled for sending CV signals to compatible synthesizers, modules, and effects. Built-in loopback lets you craft monitor or streaming mixes quickly.
Control and Software
A vivid LED display provides real-time feedback through a thoughtfully arranged interface. The Universal Control app offers comprehensive control from any connected device. A Fender Studio Pro license is included with registration.
