Description
The Fender Quantum HD2 is a 20x24 USB-C audio interface delivering 32-bit/192 kHz recording with two redesigned MAX-HD mic preamps offering +75 dB of gain. Designed for project studios and full band recordings, the HD2 pairs transparent, digitally-controlled analog preamps with Fender co-developed instrument inputs and re-amp outputs for guitar and bass workflows.
MAX-HD Preamps
Two high-definition MAX-HD mic preamps provide +75 dB of gain range with low-noise, digitally-controlled analog circuitry, suited for dynamic and condenser microphones alike. An Auto Gain button analyzes your source and sets the optimal level automatically.
Instrument Inputs and Re-Amp
Two front-facing instrument inputs were co-developed with Fender engineers specifically for guitar and bass. Two re-amp outputs let you send audio from your DAW back to a physical amp, experiment with pedals and mic placements, then re-record the result.
Control and Software
An illuminated push encoder controls gain level and output volume from the front panel. The Universal Control app provides full metering and mix control from a computer, tablet, or phone. A perpetual Studio One Pro license is included with hardware registration.
