Description
The Pioneer DJ DJM-A9 is a 4-channel professional club mixer and the successor to the DJM-900NXS2. It features ESS Technology 32-bit A/D and D/A converters for the highest audio fidelity Pioneer DJ has shipped at scale, a third-generation MAGVEL FADER, dual USB-B + dual USB-C ports for two concurrent computers, Bluetooth 5.0 input, and an expanded effects suite with the X-Pad touch strip and world-first Center Lock knob.
Audio Engine
ESS Technology 32-bit high-quality A/D converters on all channel inputs deliver crystal-clear, high-resolution sound. The master and booth output sections employ matched 32-bit D/A converters so booth monitors reproduce the same audio the crowd hears on the dancefloor. Microphone and headphone paths have been redesigned with new parts and optimized circuitry.

- 6 Sound Color FX with the world-first Center Lock knob, which stops at center position so you can sweep to maximum without overshooting.
- 14 Beat FX including 3 new types: Mobius, Triplet Filter, and Triplet Roll.
- X-Pad touch strip: Simultaneous frequency-band and parameter control with a color display that lights in correspondence with horizontal position.
- Dedicated channel selector button: Quickly applies effects to your chosen channel.
Playability
Increased spacing around EQ knobs gives room for finger movement. High-grade bright LEDs in the channel section improve visual feedback on levels. Optimized isolator frequency response targets modern production traits. Higher-quality channel faders and the third-generation MAGVEL FADER crossfader deliver smooth mixing and rapid, stable scratching.
