The Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP2 is a USB bus-powered add-on controller for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, designed to expand a turntable, CDJ, or controller setup with 32 low-latency multicolored performance pads, two Slide FX touch strips, and looping controls inherited from the DJM-S9. Robust construction with a non-slip rubber surround means it handles energetic finger drumming night after night.
Performance Pads & Modes
32 tactile, multicolored pads remain touch-sensitive under heavy use. In Serato DJ Pro, 16-pad mode assigns 8 pads each to two different features per deck simultaneously (e.g., Hot Cues + Sampler) without switching. Transport mode maps play, pause, cue, and pitch controls to the pads. Silent Cue lets you soundlessly cue up tracks with the faders open, then trigger playback from Hot Cue points at the correct BPM.
Slide FX & Looping
Two Slide FX strips provide dynamic, touch-based control over FX combinations by moving your finger up and down, without needing to toggle effects on or off. The looping section mirrors the DJM-S9 flagship scratch mixer for familiar, confident loop control during performances.
Compatibility
Works with rekordbox (Performance mode unlocked free on connection, DVS available) and Serato DJ Pro. Connect to compatible controllers and mixers to access advanced features including Slip mode, Roll, and Slicer. Fully MIDI assignable via USB for custom mappings with other software.
