Description
The Lewitt LCT 140 AIR is a small-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone designed for acoustic instruments, drums, strings, and ensemble recording. A side-mounted sound-character switch lets you choose AIR mode for an open, presence-rich tone or FLAT mode for a linear, natural response. Onboard pad and low-cut controls help you handle loud sources and control low-end rumble without reaching for the preamp.
Features
- Switchable AIR and FLAT sound characteristics
- Cardioid polar pattern for focused capture and off-axis rejection
- -12 dB pre-attenuation pad for loud drum and amp sources
- 80 Hz low-cut filter (12 dB/octave) to reduce rumble
- Lightweight aluminum body with wire-mesh grille
- Excellent transient response for detailed instrument capture
- Includes foam windscreen, microphone clip, and transport bag
