The Korg SP-280 is a portable 88-key digital piano with unusually powerful 22W stereo speakers for its class, 30 sounds, and an included stand. Its NH weighted keyboard and high-output amplification make it suitable for small venues, rehearsal spaces, and home use where external amplification may not be available.

Sound & Keyboard

Thirty sounds include concert grands, electric pianos, organs, strings, and ensemble patches. The NH Natural Weighted Hammer Action keyboard provides graduated weight across all 88 keys. 120-note polyphony ensures sustain-heavy passages play cleanly. Layer mode combines two sounds simultaneously for richer textures.

Amplification & Portability

Two 22W speakers deliver room-filling volume that rivals many console pianos, an unusual feature in a portable chassis. The included stand provides stable support at standard piano height. At approximately 19 kg (41.89 lbs) assembled, the SP-280 can be transported to gigs and rehearsals without specialized flight cases. Battery or AC operation adds venue flexibility.
