Korg BM-1 Digital Piano Module (Black)

The Korg BM-1 is a compact Bluetooth 5 MIDI interface that wirelessly connects any instrument with standard 5-pin DIN MIDI ports to computers, tablets, phones, and other Bluetooth MIDI devices. With approximately 3 ms latency, 20-meter range, and zero-battery operation (powered via MIDI OUT), it adds wireless MIDI to synthesizers, digital pianos, and controllers without cables, drivers, or charging.

Connectivity & Pairing

The BM-1 consists of a main adapter (MIDI OUT connector) and sub-adapter (MIDI IN connector) joined by a flexible cable. Power-on pairing is automatic with BLE-MIDI compatible devices. The dedicated iOS/iPadOS app enables grouping of up to five BM-1 units for multi-instrument wireless setups. Compatible with Windows, macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.

Software Unlocks

Connecting a BM-1 unlocks additional features in Korg Gadget 2 LE (extra gadgets and tracks) and Korg Module (four additional sound programs, set list function, MIDI player, and audio recording). Firmware updates are delivered via the BM-1 iOS app.
