iRig Keys 2
Description
The IK Multimedia iRig Keys 2 is a portable 37-key USB MIDI keyboard controller with a 3-octave velocity-sensitive mini keybed and versatile parameter controls for beatmakers, producers, and electronic musicians. Use it to control your favorite virtual instruments on your Mac/Windows computer or iOS/Android mobile device, or connect its 2.5mm MIDI I/O to a hardware synthesizer for standalone triggering of outboard analog synth sounds.
In addition to the keybed, there are four assignable knobs, wheels for pitchbend and modulation, and separate data and volume controls. Customizable settings such as transposition, touch sensitivity, and MIDI channel can be saved for quick recall later. A 3.5mm stereo output allows you to easily monitor through headphones or speakers, and a 1/4" input is provided for hookup of a sustain pedal (available separately). The iRig Keys 2 is powered via USB and includes a software bundle with a workstation and virtual instruments.
