Description
The Fostex T60RPmk2 puts the 4th generation RP planar magnetic driver in a semi-open housing carved from solid black walnut, aimed at listening rather than closed-booth tracking. Grain and color vary from unit to unit because each cup is natural wood; that does not change the acoustic tuning.
Cable
Both cups have 2-pole 3.5 mm jacks for a Y-cable, which simplifies re-cabling. A 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter and pouch are included. Optional 4.4 mm balanced cable ET-RP4.4BL2Y is sold separately. Ultrasuede ear pads EX-EP-RP-SUEDE are optional.
