Description
D16 Devastor 2 is a multiband distortion plugin built around a diode-clipper emulation with synthesizer-style filters and selectable filter/clipper routing. It can push acid synths, guitars, and drums into heavy grit, or add subtle warmth with softer dynamics settings.
Filter and Clipper Routing
Three filters (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and band-reject styles with resonance) combine with the diode clipper across nine connection topologies. A dynamics flattener compresses the input before clipping, and an optional output limiter with auto-makeup tames peaks while adding coloration.
