Austrian Audio OC707 Handheld Condenser Vocal Microphone

The Austrian Audio OC707 is a handheld true condenser vocal microphone that puts Open Acoustics capsule design on stage. It captures vocal dynamics and nuance with studio-style clarity while rejecting feedback and handling the abuse of nightly use. The cardioid pattern and careful resonance control keep the voice present without the boxy handheld coloration many stage condensers add.

Open Acoustics on a Handheld

Sound reaches the capsule with minimal obstruction from the grille and basket. Contact points between capsule and housing are reduced, and materials are chosen to suppress handling vibration. A 120 Hz low-cut cleans proximity and stage rumble before the preamp.

Stage and Studio

Use the OC707 for lead and backing vocals live, or as a handheld option in the studio when a singer prefers the feel of a stage mic. Phantom power is required. The OCH1 clip and MZP3 pouch are available separately.
