Description
The Austrian Audio Hi-X15 is a closed-back over-ear workhorse with the same 44 mm High Excursion drivers used across the Hi-X line. It is designed in Austria for everyday studio, rehearsal, and practice use: clear lows that stay controlled, detailed mids, and enough isolation for tracking without breaking the budget.
Hi-X Drivers and Build
Each cup uses a 44 mm Hi-X driver with a ring magnet and copper-clad aluminum voice coil for fast impulse response and low distortion. Soft memory-foam earpads and a flexible headband support longer sessions. Metal hinges and a foldable design make the headphones easy to pack without feeling fragile.
Studio and Stage Use
Closed-back isolation suits tracking, rehearsal rooms, and on-the-road listening. The detachable 1.4 m cable is replaceable if it wears out, and the 25 Ω impedance drives easily from interfaces, phones, and headphone amps.
