Description
The AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 is a 4-channel DJ controller for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro featuring Groove Circuit, a drum-manipulation system that lets you replace, roll, and capture drum parts from any track in real time for on-the-fly remixing.
Groove Circuit
- Drum Swap: Replace the drum track of any loaded song with a different drum loop at the push of a button. A free pack of 40 loops in multiple genres is included.
- Drum Roll / Trans: Apply Roll or Trans effects to drum parts for fills, build-ups, and breakdowns.
- Capture: Extract only the drum parts from a loaded track and drop them into another deck later.
Club-Standard Layout
Large 206 mm jog wheels suited for scratching, 8 Performance Pads positioned above the jogs (mirroring the CDJ-3000 layout), and Beat FX inherited from the DJM-A9. The Groove Circuit controls sit cleanly above the Performance Pads with a stepped gap to prevent accidental jog touches.
Smart Rotary Selector
The Smart Rotary Selector supports up/down and left/right tilting in addition to conventional rotation and push for fast library navigation. Left/right tilt moves through the browser, tree view, and track list, while up/down tilt scrolls through playlists and collections quickly (rekordbox for Mac/Windows ver. 7). A dedicated Discover button accesses the Track Suggestion feature.
Serato DJ Pro Integration
Stems FX in Serato DJ Pro lets you apply effects (Roll, Trans, Echo Out, Delay) to individual stems: drums, bass, vocal, or melody. An included overlay sheet relabels the buttons for Stems FX use.
