Description

The Akai Professional MPK Mini MK3 in black is a compact 25-key USB MIDI controller with velocity-sensitive synth-action mini keys, eight backlit MPC-style pads (two banks of eight), eight assignable 360-degree knobs, and a 4-way thumbstick for pitch bend and modulation. An onboard arpeggiator with adjustable resolution, range, and modes rounds out the creative tools in a backpack-friendly, USB bus-powered package.

  • Pads: 8 velocity/pressure-sensitive backlit MPC pads, 2 banks (16 total), with Note Repeat and Full Level
  • Knobs: 8 assignable 360-degree rotary
  • Thumbstick: 4-way, configurable (3 modes) for pitch bend and modulation
  • Arpeggiator: Built-in with adjustable resolution, range, and modes
  • Sustain: 1/4" (6.35 mm) TS pedal input

Included Software

Ships with MPC Beats, VIP 3.0 (Virtual Instrument Player for VST hosting, key splits, and layering), and a Komplete 15 Select Bundle from Native Instruments with synths, sampled instruments, and studio effects.
