Description
The Akai Professional MPC Key 37 G2 is the second-generation standalone keyboard MPC, pairing a 37-note synth-action keybed with the full MPC pad-based production workflow. A Gen 2 8-core processor — four times the power of the original MPC Key 37 — drives 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, and MPC3 OS for up to 32 plug-in instruments and 16 stereo audio tracks, all without a computer. Finished in a retro cream colorway inspired by the classic late-'80s MPCs, it combines keys, pads, sampling, sequencing, and synthesis in one instrument.
Production Capabilities
MPC3 OS brings a full Linear Arranger, expanded arrangement workflows, integrated synthesis, and seamless Ableton Live import and export with Ableton Live Control Mode. Ships with over 20 GB of content — 13 plug-in instruments (including OPX-4, Jura, and Sub Factory) and 6 expansion packs — plus the Native Instruments Analog Dreams MPC Edition and a free plug-in voucher on registration.
