About Sauce Audio

Sauce Audio is a Mississauga-based plugin developer founded by Kunal Babbar in 2024. The company builds one-knob mixing and creative effect plugins for macOS and Windows, folding entire processing chains behind a single control. The design philosophy is direct: turn a knob, hear the result, move on. Sauce Audio operates as a bootstrapped, founder-run operation, reinvested from Babbar's own earnings. The flagship product is Airlift, a source-aware enhancer that stacks multiband compression, dynamic EQ, exciter/harmonic saturation, transient shaping and gain management behind one intelligent knob. The company names its processing flavours after foods and condiments, calling them Sauce Styles.

Airlift

Airlift is a source-aware enhancer that adapts its processing to the incoming signal. It stacks multiband compression, dynamic EQ, harmonic saturation, transient shaping and gain management behind a single knob. You turn it, the plugin analyzes the source, and the result changes the tonal balance and presence without requiring you to dial in individual processors. Airlift ships with seven Sauce Styles: Classic, Yuzu, Aioli, Tahini, Tomatillo, Habanero and Diablo. Each Style applies a different flavour of enhancement. The plugin is sold as a perpetual licence or a monthly subscription, both including current and future Sauce Styles. Built in the HISE framework, Airlift runs on macOS and Windows.

Blink

Blink is Sauce Audio's announced second plugin, an eight-mode creative FX processor slated for summer 2026. The company has not yet detailed the modes or the control scheme, but the one-knob philosophy suggests a similar approach to Airlift: a single control that routes through multiple processing flavours. Blink targets creative sound design and mix experimentation rather than corrective enhancement. Check the Sauce Audio collection for availability updates as the release date approaches.
