Audio-Technica's Artist Elite Series are untouchable in their category. A lot of research went into creating the AE Series, and the results are stunning. Each mic features superior anti-shock engineering for the minimum of handling noise and an overall durability and rugged construction that make them the high-performance mics for the rigors of touring.
The AE5400 is the flagship mic in the Artist Elite Series, a cardioid capacitor microphone that provides excellent natural vocals, with off-axis response that is linear and uniform across the entire frequency range of the mic. It includes a built-in integral 80 Hz HPF switch and 10 dB pad.
