seymour-duncan-11993-03
Seymour Duncan Blackouts STC-2C-BO 2-Band Bass Preamp with Concentric Control

The Blackouts Active Bass Preamp adds a 2-band onboard EQ to your bass. It boosts or cuts at center frequencies voiced for bass, with low noise, low distortion and high headroom. It was first voiced for Blackouts for Bass pickups and works with passive or active pickups in any style.

The lows are deep, clear and tight. The treble has two switchable center frequencies: the lower one adds growl and bite to traditional P, J and MM tones, and the higher one gives a clear top end for modern, full-range bass sounds. This STC-2C-BO version mounts on one concentric pot, so it can replace a standard tone knob with no extra holes in the bass.

Features

2-band active EQ with bass and treble

Concentric bass/treble pot replaces a tone knob

Switchable treble frequency

Low noise, low distortion, high headroom

For passive or active pickups

Specifications

Model: STC-2C-BO

Type: Active onboard bass preamp

EQ: 2-band (bass, treble)

Controls: Concentric bass/treble

Treble: Two switchable center frequencies

Pickups: Passive or active

In the Box

Preamp

High-quality potentiometers on a pre-wired harness

Battery clip

Stereo jack

Black anodized, knurled dome knobs
