seymour-duncan-11405-01
Seymour Duncan SJB-5 5 String Stack Jazz Bass Pickup (Neck)

The SJB-5 5 String Stack is a passive, noiseless Jazz Bass pickup with blades in place of individual pole pieces. It has moderate, vintage output and a flat response. The neck pickup has a warm character and the bridge pickup adds definition and snap, and together they give a slight midrange dip that suits slap playing.

It uses the cover size of a traditional 5-string Fender Jazz Bass. The blades let it work on 4-string or 5-string basses with string spacing up to 2.9 in (73.6mm), and it does not directly retrofit a modern Fender Jazz V. This is the neck pickup. Pair it with the 5 String Stack bridge pickup for a matched set.

Features

Noiseless stacked-coil design

Blade pole pieces for even string balance

Ceramic bar magnet

4-conductor lead wire

Logo cover

Vacuum wax potted for squeal-free operation

Hand built in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Model: SJB-5

Position: Neck

Strings: 4 or 5

Type: Passive noiseless stack

Output: Vintage

DC resistance: 11.1k

Magnet: Ceramic bar

Cable: 4-conductor shielded

String spacing: Up to 2.9 in (73.6mm)
