seymour-duncan-11402-10
Seymour Duncan SRB-1 Rickenbacker Bass Pickup (Bridge)

The SRB-1 Rickenbacker Bass pickups are replacements for 4000 series Rickenbacker basses. They add output, expand the tonal range over the original pickups and cancel hum, and they suit all styles of music.

The bridge pickup (SRB-1b) uses two Alnico 5 bar magnets for more power and sustain without coloring the tone. It is designed for the 4003 bass, where it replaces the horseshoe magnet. It is slightly larger than the original bridge pickup, so the factory chrome mounting ring cannot be used, and a phenolic mounting ring comes with it.

Features

Two Alnico 5 bar magnets

Hum-canceling design

Adds output and tonal range over the original Ric pickups

4-conductor lead wire

Vacuum wax potted for squeal-free operation

Hand built in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Model: SRB-1b

Position: Bridge

Strings: 4

Type: Passive humbucker

DC resistance: 8.6k

Magnet: Alnico 5 bars

Cable: 4-conductor shielded

Fits: Rickenbacker 4003 bridge position

In the Box

SRB-1b bridge pickup

Phenolic mounting ring
