seymour-duncan-11302-03
Seymour Duncan SJAG-3 Quarter Pound Jaguar Single-Coil Pickup (Neck)

The Quarter Pound Jaguar is a high-output Jaguar pickup with large 1/4 inch diameter alnico 5 rod magnets and a custom overwound coil. It sounds a bit like a P90 soapbar, with the extra articulation and focus you expect from a Jaguar.

This is the neck model. The overwound coil gives it a fat low end, and the large pole pieces add chime and treble response to balance it. Pair it with the Quarter Pound Jaguar bridge for a high-output set. It fits the original claw and is meant to be mounted without a cover.

Features

High-output Jaguar single coil

1/4 inch diameter alnico 5 rod magnets

Custom overwound coil

Custom flatwork

Wax potted for squeal-free operation

Fits the original claw, mounted without a cover

Cover and claw not included

Specifications

Model: SJAG-3 Quarter Pound Jaguar

Type: Passive single coil

Position: Neck

Strings: 6

DC resistance: 12.2k

Magnet: Alnico 5 rods, 1/4 inch diameter

Output: High

Cable: PVC lead wire

Color: Black
