seymour-duncan-11302-01
Seymour Duncan SJAG-2 Hot Jaguar Single-Coil Pickup (Neck)

The Hot Jaguar is a high-output true single-coil pickup for the Jaguar. Hand-ground alnico 5 rod magnets and a custom coil wind give it more midrange and cut than a traditional Jaguar pickup, so chords sound fatter and fuller and solos stand out more.

This is the neck model. It is wound reverse wind, reverse polarity (RWRP), so it cancels hum when used together with the Hot Jaguar bridge pickup. On its own it has a fat, full sound that suits funk, rock, blues and psychedelia. It drops into Fender American Standard Jaguar-sized pickup locations and fits the original cover and claw.

Features

High-output true single-coil Jaguar pickup

Hand-ground alnico 5 rod magnets

Custom coil wind

Vintage-correct Forbon flatwork

Wax potted for squeal-free performance

Neck model is RWRP for hum-cancelling with the bridge model

Drop-in replacement for Fender American Standard Jaguar-sized pickups

Cover and claw not included

Specifications

Model: SJAG-2 Hot Jaguar

Type: Passive single coil

Position: Neck

Strings: 6

DC resistance: 11.7k

Magnet: Alnico 5 rods

Output: High

Color: Black
