seymour-duncan-11208-04
Seymour Duncan Vintage Broadcaster Tele Pickup Set

The Vintage Broadcaster Tele Set is a tribute to the original 1950 Broadcaster pickups. The lead pickup uses Alnico 5 magnets with a slightly larger .197 inch diameter and a higher-output wind for biting treble and snarly mids, made for raucous riffs and stinging lead runs. It also works well in front of a fuzz pedal.

The rhythm pickup has a smooth, open tone with warm lower mids and airy highs. Its hand-ground Alnico 5 rod magnets give big, full chords that are warm enough for most rhythm playing and percussive enough for chicken pickin'.

Features

Lead and rhythm pickups for a Telecaster

Hand-ground Alnico 5 rod magnets

Hand-assembled, lacquered Forbon bobbins

Waxed cloth push-back hookup wire

Copper-plated steel bottom plate on the lead pickup

Wax potted for squeal-free performance

Specifications

Type: Passive single coil

Strings: 6

Magnet: Alnico 5 rods

DC resistance: Neck 7.63k, bridge 7.95k

Lead wire: Cloth push-back

In the Box

Vintage Broadcaster bridge (lead) pickup

Neck (rhythm) pickup
