It keeps a vintage tone while adding output, sustain and fuller harmonics. It cuts through the mix and cleans up when you back off the volume.

Seymour first wound the 6-string Custom Staggered for David Gilmour's Black Strat. This 7-string version fits the neck, middle or bridge and has a black cover with the Seymour Duncan logo. It suits Texas blues rock, classic rock and heavy rock, and works well in brighter guitars with ash or alder bodies.

Features

Overwound single coil for 7-string guitars

Staggered pole pieces

Alnico 5 rod magnets

Black cover with Seymour Duncan logo

Built in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Model: SSL-5 7-String

Type: Passive single coil

Position: Neck, middle or bridge

Strings: 7

Magnet: Alnico 5 rods

DC resistance: 15.5k

Lead wire: PVC lead wire

Color: Black
