seymour-duncan-11106-67-bnc7
Seymour Duncan Jeff Loomis Blackouts Active Humbucker Pickup (Neck, 7-String, Passive Mount)

Jeff Loomis voiced his signature Blackouts to stay clear under heavy distortion, with strong pick attack for fast playing and enough sustain and dynamics for legato and sweep picking. The voicing comes from high-output passive humbuckers, with the output, headroom and low noise of an active pickup.

This is the neck pickup. It uses alnico 5 rod magnets, with a slight treble lift and a focused low end that keeps lower notes from getting boomy. This is the 7-string passive mount version, with a black brushed nickel cover.

Features

Signature active humbucker custom-voiced by Jeff Loomis

Stays clear and detailed under very high gain

Strong pick attack for fast picking

Sustain for tapping and legato playing

Alnico 5 magnets

Specifications

Model: Jeff Loomis Blackouts

Type: Active humbucker

Position: Neck

Strings: 7

Mount: Passive mount

Magnet: Alnico 5 rods

Cable: Single conductor plus battery wire

Color: Black brushed nickel cover
