seymour-duncan-11106-47-b
Seymour Duncan Dino Cazares Retribution Active Humbucker Pickup (Neck, 7-String, Active Mount)

The Retribution pickups were designed with Dino Cazares of Fear Factory and Divine Heresy for 7- and 8-string guitars. A specially tuned preamp adds just the right amount of gain, sharper pick attack and string clarity, and the voicing keeps the low B and F# strings defined.

This is the 7-string neck pickup in the active mount soapbar housing, made to replace factory active pickups. Like the standard Blackouts, it keeps an open, organic sound with low noise and a wider dynamic response than most active pickups. Dino describes it as a crunchy, evenly voiced sound for low tunings, with more articulation in the pick attack.

Features

Signature active humbucker designed with Dino Cazares

Specially tuned preamp for gain, attack definition and string clarity

Low strings stay defined in low tunings

Low noise with a wide dynamic response

Wound and assembled in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Model: Dino Cazares Retribution

Type: Active humbucker

Position: Neck

Strings: 7

Mount: Active mount, soapbar housing

Cable: Single conductor plus battery wire

Color: Black
