seymour-duncan-11106-40b
Seymour Duncan AHB-2b Blackouts Metal Active Bridge Humbucker Pickup (Black)

The AHB-2b Blackouts Metal is Seymour Duncan's highest output active bridge humbucker. It replaces the earlier LiveWire Metal with a new preamp and voicing, and it adds a second, moderate output level. The tone is thick and saturated with strong midrange punch, for metal, punk, thrash and drop tunings.

The pickup ships with a jumper across two pins on its underside. With the jumper in place you get full output. Remove it for a lower level that still sits well with a neck pickup or an amp's clean channel, or wire the pins to a mini switch or push-pull pot for an onboard boost. This version has a black cover.

Features

Seymour Duncan's highest output active bridge pickup

Two output levels set by a removable pin jumper

Pins can be wired to a mini switch or push-pull pot for an onboard boost

Fits any humbucker-routed guitar

Not splittable

Specifications

Model: AHB-2b Blackouts Metal

Type: Active humbucker

Position: Bridge

Strings: 6

Magnet: Alnico 5

Cable: Single conductor plus battery wire

Color: Black

In the Box

25K pots, stereo output jack and battery clip

Pin jumper

Quick-connector cables, capacitor, mounting hardware and wire
