seymour-duncan-11104-43-zrz-4c-bpsh
Seymour Duncan Slash 3.0 Humbucker Pickup Set (Zebra, 4-Conductor, Short Legs)

The Slash 3.0 is the third Slash signature humbucker from Seymour Duncan, after the original Slash model and the hotter Slash 2.0. Slash asked for it when Guns N' Roses played the Back to the Beginning tribute to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, because his SG needed more output. Rough cast Alnico 5 magnets give it tighter lows, a quicker attack and more output, while it keeps the clarity of the earlier Slash models. Slash now uses the 3.0 live in other guitars that need extra output. It fits Les Paul and SG style guitars as well as superstrats.

This set pairs the Slash 3.0 neck and bridge humbuckers, uncovered, in the Zebra finish. This version has short mounting legs, which fit a wider range of guitars and allow direct mounting, and 4-conductor cable for coil splitting, series/parallel wiring and phase switching.

Features

Rough cast Alnico 5 magnets for tighter lows, a quicker attack and more output

Vintage-style construction with wood spacers

Vacuum wax potted

Short mounting legs for direct mounting and a wider range of guitars

4-conductor cable for coil splitting, series/parallel wiring and phase switching

Hand built in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Model: Slash 3.0

Positions: Neck and bridge

Strings: 6

DC resistance: Neck 8.8k, bridge 9.62k

Magnet: Alnico 5, rough cast

Cable: 4-conductor shielded

Mounting legs: Short

Type: Passive

Color: Zebra

In the Box

Slash 3.0 neck humbucker

Slash 3.0 bridge humbucker
