seymour-duncan-11104-19-bnc
Seymour Duncan Slash 2.0 Bridge Humbucker Pickup (Black Nickel Cover, Single-Conductor, Long Legs)

The Slash 2.0 is a hotter version of Slash's APH-2 signature humbucker. After several world tours with Guns N' Roses and Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Slash wanted more output from his pickups on stage. He asked Seymour Duncan for the same tone and clarity as his APH-2s, only hotter. The hotter wind keeps the sound he knows and pushes his amps with a balance of volume, drive and compression. It suits players who like the original Slash pickups and want more output.

This is the Slash 2.0 bridge pickup. It has a black nickel cover. Seymour Duncan recommends pairing it with the Slash 2.0 neck pickup, so the voicing matches and the two stay in phase. This version is built the way Seymour Duncan built Slash's originals in the 80s, with long mounting legs and single-conductor braided lead wire.

Features

Hotter wind based on the APH-2 Slash Signature humbucker

Rough cast Alnico 2 magnet

Nickel silver bottom plate

Maple spacer, paper tape and wax potting

Long mounting legs and single-conductor braided lead wire

Hand built in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Model: Slash 2.0

Position: Bridge

Strings: 6

DC resistance: 9.38k

Magnet: Alnico 2, rough cast

Bottom plate: Nickel silver

Cable: Single-conductor braided shield

Mounting legs: Long

Type: Passive

Color: Black Nickel Cover
