seymour-duncan-11102-97-a-sb-7str
Seymour Duncan Sentient Active Mount Neck Humbucker Pickup with Black Soapbar Cover (7-String)

The Sentient is a vintage-output neck humbucker, first designed to go with the Nazgûl and Pegasus bridge pickups. Its Alnico 5 bar magnet gives a balanced tone that sits between the '59 Model and Jazz Model neck pickups, with clean tones for chords and single-note runs and fluid leads under high gain.

It has good dynamic response and a wide harmonic range, and it works well in low tunings in any humbucker-equipped guitar. Pair it with the Nazgûl or Pegasus bridge pickup. This version has a black soapbar cover with one row of exposed poles for a modern active look, and it drops into any 7-string guitar with an active pickup rout. It is a passive pickup.

Features

Vintage output for clean and high-gain sounds

Alnico 5 bar magnet

Tone between the '59 Model and Jazz Model neck pickups

Works well in low tunings

Black soapbar cover with one row of exposed poles

Fits 7-string guitars with an active pickup rout

Nickel silver bottom plate

4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options

Vacuum wax potted to prevent squeal

Hand built in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Model: Sentient Active Mount

Position: Neck

Strings: 7

Mount: Active-size soapbar

Magnet: Alnico 5 bar

DC resistance: 9.2k

Output: Vintage

Type: Passive humbucker

Lead wire: 4-conductor shielded

Bottom plate: Nickel silver

Cover: Black soapbar with exposed poles

Made in: Santa Barbara, California, USA
