Mark plays through high-gain amp modeling, so the pickups were voiced for clear complex chords, coil splitting and drop tunings.

This set pairs the Scarlet neck pickup with the Scourge bridge pickup. The Scarlet uses a ceramic magnet with its output set for note definition in clean and mid-gain sounds. The Scourge uses an Alnico 8 magnet for low end and a focused midrange. This is the 7-string set in black.

Features

Mark Holcomb signature neck and bridge pickups

Scarlet neck: ceramic magnet, voiced for clean and mid-gain note definition

Scourge bridge: Alnico 8 magnet for low end and a focused midrange

Voiced for clarity on complex chords and drop tunings

4-conductor shielded lead wire on both pickups

Specifications

Model: Mark Holcomb Scarlet (neck) and Scourge (bridge)

Position: Neck and bridge set

Strings: 7

Magnets: Ceramic (Scarlet), Alnico 8 (Scourge)

DC resistance: Neck 8.36k, bridge 12.5k

Type: Passive humbuckers

Lead wire: 4-conductor shielded

Color: Black
