seymour-duncan-11102-63-b8
Seymour Duncan Mark Holcomb Alpha & Omega Humbucker Pickup Set (8-String, Matte Black)

The Alpha & Omega set holds Mark Holcomb's signature neck and bridge humbuckers. The Omega bridge gives a hard, percussive attack and growl in the mids and low end, with enough clarity to cut through on complex chords and solos. The Alpha neck combines some of the fat, glassy neck sound with plenty of pick attack and fretting-hand detail.

The pickups were made with Mark Holcomb of Periphery for the precise, technical rhythms of progressive metal, with the output and articulation to work alone or in a dense mix. Mark has used the Alpha & Omega set in his 6, 7 and 8-string guitars, live and in the studio. This is the 8-string set in matte black.

Features

Mark Holcomb signature neck and bridge humbuckers

Omega bridge with percussive attack and growl

Alpha neck with a fat, glassy sound and strong pick attack

High-output passive design

Ceramic magnet

4-conductor shielded cable for multiple wiring options

Made in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Type: Passive humbuckers

Includes: Alpha neck and Omega bridge humbuckers

Strings: 8

Output: High

Magnet: Ceramic

DC resistance: Neck 10.97k, bridge 18.27k

Cable: 4-conductor shielded

Color: Matte Black
