seymour-duncan-11102-62-b8
Seymour Duncan Mark Holcomb Omega Bridge Humbucker Pickup (8-String, Matte Black)

The Omega is Mark Holcomb's signature bridge humbucker. It gives a hard, percussive attack and growl in the mids and low end, and keeps enough clarity and brightness to cut through on complex chords, single-note lines and solos. The pickups were made with Mark Holcomb of Periphery for the precise, technical rhythms of progressive metal, with the output and articulation to work alone or in a dense mix.

It pairs with the Alpha neck pickup. Mark has used the Alpha & Omega set in his 6, 7 and 8-string guitars, live and in the studio. This is the 8-string version in matte black.

Features

Mark Holcomb signature bridge humbucker

Percussive attack and growl with clear, bright highs

High-output passive design

Ceramic magnet

4-conductor shielded cable for multiple wiring options

Made in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Type: Passive humbucker

Position: Bridge

Strings: 8

Output: High

Magnet: Ceramic

DC resistance: 18.27k

Cable: 4-conductor shielded

Color: Matte Black
