It drops into 7-string and 8-string guitars routed for active pickups and gives them a modern active look.

The Distortion neck model is voiced to pair with the Distortion bridge. It is hot enough for smooth, fluid solo tones under gain and still gives bell-like clean tones. This is the 7-string neck model.

Features

Passive Duncan Distortion humbucker in an active-style mount

Black soapbar cover with one row of exposed pole pieces

Fits 7-string guitars with active pickup routs

Large ceramic bar magnet with hot coil windings

Nickel-silver bottom plate

4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options

Vacuum wax potted to stop feedback squeal

Hand built in Santa Barbara, California

Specifications

Type: Passive humbucker

Position: Neck

Strings: 7

Mount: Active pickup rout, soapbar cover

Output: High

Magnet: Ceramic bar

DC resistance: 15.1k

Cable: 4-conductor shielded

Color: Black
