faith-guitars-fnceec
Faith Guitars Eclipse Neptune Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar (Onyx Black)

The Eclipse Neptune is a baby-jumbo cutaway acoustic-electric for gigging players who want a bigger sound. The Neptune is a baby-jumbo based on Patrick James Eggle's Saluda shape, with a 16" lower bout. It gives much of the volume of a full 17" jumbo in a body that is easier to hold. Faith designed the Eclipse series as stage guitars. A Fishman INK BODY preamp combines an undersaddle piezo with a body sensor under the bridge plate, and a body control sets how much body tone and percussion goes into the mix. A figured maple forearm contour makes the guitar more comfortable to play, and the series uses no animal products: the rosette, inlay and logo are figured maple.

The solid Engelmann spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides give presence with a full body, and the onyx-black finish under clear lacquer tames the resonance for a balanced, focused tone when amplified.

Features

Neptune baby-jumbo body, 16" lower bout, with cutaway

Figured maple forearm contour

Solid Engelmann spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides

Onyx-black gloss finish

Fishman INK BODY preamp with undersaddle pickup and body sensor

Free from animal products

Black woodshell hardcase included

Specifications

Body Shape: Neptune baby-jumbo, 16" lower bout, cutaway

Top: Solid Engelmann spruce

Back and Sides: Solid mahogany

Neck: Mahogany

Neck Joint: Patrick James Eggle bolt-on design

Fingerboard: Macassan figured ebony

Fingerboard Inlays: Maple "F" at the 12th fret

Binding: Solid figured maple

Bridge: Macassan figured ebony

Bridge Pins: Macassan figured ebony

Nut and Saddle: TUSQ

Bracing: Hand-scalloped, quarter-sawn spruce

Rosette: Solid figured maple

Arm Contour: Figured maple forearm contour

Tuners: Grover Rotomatic, chrome

Truss Rod: 2-way

Electronics: Fishman INK BODY preamp with S-Core undersaddle pickup and under-bridge body sensor

Controls: Body control to blend the body sensor with the undersaddle pickup

Finish: Gloss black top, back and sides

Color: Onyx black

Strings: D'Addario XT, light gauge (12, 16, 24, 32, 42, 53)

In the Box

Black Faith woodshell hardcase with black plush interior
