blackstar-debut-100rh
Blackstar Debut 100RH Guitar Amplifier Head (Cream)

The Blackstar Debut 100RH is a 100-watt, two-channel guitar amplifier head with the same controls and reverb as the Debut 100R combos. It suits players who want to choose their own cabinet, and Blackstar makes a matching Debut 2x12 vertical cabinet for it. A switch drops the output from 100 watts to 5 watts for quiet playing, and the speaker-emulated line out mutes the power amp for silent practice through headphones or direct recording. Blackstar's patented ISF control works with the three-band EQ to move the tone between an American and a British character.

Two Channels and Reverb

The Clean channel has its own volume and a Bright switch for extra top end, and it moves from clean into a light crunch as the volume goes up. The Overdrive channel has separate Gain and Volume controls and runs from crunch to a saturated lead sound. The digital reverb switches between a bright plate and a darker hall with a longer decay. A 2-button latching footswitch, sold separately, changes channels and turns the reverb on and off.

Speaker Outputs and Connections

The rear panel has one 16-ohm and one 8-ohm speaker output. The 16-ohm output takes a single 16-ohm extension cabinet, and the 8-ohm output takes a single 8-ohm extension cabinet. Do not connect the head to a 4-ohm cabinet input. The Line In lets you play along with music from a phone, and a series effects loop with Send and Return jacks takes external effects units.

Features

100 W output with a 5 W power reduction switch

Clean and Overdrive channels, with a Bright switch on the Clean channel

Bass, Middle and Treble EQ with Blackstar's patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature)

Plate and Hall digital reverb with a level control

Speaker-emulated Line Out / Phones output that mutes the power amp

Line In for playing along with music

Series effects loop

16-ohm and 8-ohm speaker outputs

Footswitch jack for any 2-button latching footswitch (sold separately)

Specifications

Power: 100 W RMS, switchable to 5 W

Channels: Clean, Overdrive

Front panel: Input, Clean Volume, Bright, OD switch, Gain, Overdrive Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, ISF, Plate / Hall switch, Reverb Level, Power Reduction, Power

Rear panel: Mains input, Line Out / Phones, Footswitch, Line In, Effects Loop Send and Return, 16-ohm and 8-ohm speaker outputs

Speaker load: A single 16-ohm cabinet on the 16-ohm output, a single 8-ohm cabinet on the 8-ohm output, no 4-ohm cabinet inputs

Mains input: 100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz

Finish: Cream covering with an oxblood control panel

Dimensions (W x H x D): 465 x 216 x 220 mm (18.3 x 8.5 x 8.7 in)

Weight: 7.08 kg (15.6 lbs)
